Instead of searching through twenty Telegram and WhatsApp groups, users can now use Buscar to find a live map, events, current exchange rates, and a community, all within the same app. A lot of information is collected, organized, and available to find at any time.
The bilingual nature (German/Spanish) of this app is also a useful tool. It builds a bridge between German-speaking expats and the Paraguayan community. Both sides can use the same platform, and user-created content such as questions, answers, descriptions, and more is automatically translated into the respective language.

Directory & Live Map: The heart of Buscar consists of hundreds of verified locations throughout Paraguay.
The locations are clearly displayed as a list and on an interactive map.
Categories include, among others, restaurants & cafés, doctors, health & services, shops & markets, accommodations, places & attractions, sports & fitness, beauty & wellness, gas stations & automotive, exchange offices, as well as a dedicated real estate section.
Search & Filters: A full-text search searches through names, descriptions, cities, categories, and keywords. Filtering can be done by category, city, minimum rating, “open now,” and available offers.
Own Live Location: Your own location appears as a blue dot on the map and moves live with you.
Ratings, Photos & Comments: Star ratings, comments, and your own photos for each location provide real, honest guidance from the community.
Route & Call with One Tap: From every listing, users can directly start the route in Google Maps or call the location. Opening hours are displayed with an “open / closed” indicator.
Events: Events throughout Paraguay can be discovered – free or with tickets, visible on the map. Users can filter by type, city, and time period, with registration/participation options and event photos. Everyone can organize their own events.
Ask the Community: A notice board for questions of all kinds – even without a previous search. Users help each other with answers, either with location recommendations or as free text.
